About the First Lady

Sis. Johnson was baptized at an early age of 7 years old at the Rock of Ages B.C. Pastored by the late Rev. Dr. Ernest Pollard. She remained there until she was united in matrimony to Rev. Ernest Johnson. Sis. Estella Johnson is married to Rev. Dr. Ernest Johnson for 38 years. Sis. Johnson is the mother of two (2) children, Sean and Shondra Johnson, and grandmother of three (3) , Victoria, Garrett, Sean Jr and Zander

Currently she serves as Church Secretary, President of Women of G.O.D. Ministry, (Gifted, Obedient, Dedicated), Member of Senior Choir, New Members Teacher, Willing Workers Ministry and Director of Greater Mt. Carmel Tutorial and Community Development Center. Her favorite hymns are “Let Jesus Fix It For You” and “Walk On By Faith”, her favorite scriptures are

Sis. Estella C. Johnson is saved, blessed and is striving to make heaven her home and to hear our Lord welcome her with these words “Servant of God well done you have been faithful over a few things come up higher and I will make you ruler over many.

Sister Estella Johnson

Sis. Estella C. Johnson was born on July 30th, 1947 to the union of the late Manuel and Louise Cordova. She is the third (3rd) of six (6) children born of that marriage. Sis. Johnson was educated in the Orleans Parish School System. She is a graduate of Joseph S. Clark H.S., Dillard University, B.A. Elementary Education, University of New Orleans, Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and certification in Administration.
